Augmented Reality
My Pieces come to life when traveling through AR.
My piece Camo, 2021 Wich is usually a digital print now visualised through AR in Amsterdam.
This new piece is special to me as it was created, filmed and inspired by my latest trip to Los Angeles.
The colours that I have used are intentional, including the Barbie Pink (Pantone 219) but also the taupe being the bespoke colour on all the Warner Brother Studios (Performance taupe). Having visited the space it was a must have colour in this piece.
I'm constantly inspired by women around me, personally and creatively. It is important to send tribute to Ruth Handler the original creator of Barbie who created Barbies with a vast scope of professions in a time where women where even more restricted in the Patriarchy and how amazing it is for Greta Gerwig and her success on this film and it's message.
